The project
This project concerned Satellite S4 (Terminal 2E) of Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport. The aim was to adapt the area to 100% long-haul international traffic, accommodating 16 wide-body aircraft (9 Boeing 747s and 7 Airbus A380s), to serve 7.2 million passengers annually.
The building and infrastructure were designed to meet high environmental standards, boost accessibility for people with disabilities and overall create a functional, cost-effective, modern and profitable building.
The building plans included the following:
- A main building with a 113 x 175 m surface area
- A North and a South wing, with a 760 x 36 m surface area
